Green Chile Cheese Soup

An absolute favorite. Great right out of the box, but great too when you add just about anything to it (like clams or chicken) or use it as a base for chile rellenos.

This made a very tasty soup on a cold night. It's very rich and the rice adds a nice touch. We made it with low-fat milk for a bit of a creamier texture.
