Ready for a real taste of the southwest then try our wonderful red chile pistachios! Suck on the shell and learn what real chile flavor is! The heat index on the Red Chile Pistachios are a 5 or 6.

XXtra Hot Red Chile Pistachios (In-Shell)

The same flavor as our Red Chile pistachios only bumped up a notch. We’ve added a touch of habañero for our fiery friends! The heat index on the Extra-Hot Red Chile Pistachios are a 8 or 9.

Heart of the Desert Pistachios are the home-grown product of Eagle Ranch in Alamogordo, New Mexico. They are harvested, processed, packaged right on the farm – guaranteeing the freshness and value of our pistachios are second-to-none.

Nutritional Facts: In addition to being a truly delicious treat, pistachios are among the most nutritious nuts around. Pistachio nuts are all natural, cholesterol free, high in fiber, low in saturated fats and NO transfats, and gluten free. One ounce of shelled pistachios contains 10% of an adult's needed daily intake of protein, without animal fats. There is more potassium and iron by weight in pistachios than in any other nut, fruit, or vegetable.

Pistachios are nutrient dense and are an excellent source of complex carbohydrate energy.

Storage of Pistachios: We recommend keeping pistachios in the refrigerator or freezer in a sealed container. Kept in the refrigerator, pistachios will stay fresh and flavorful for a year. In the freezer, shelf life is two years.

LOVE these pistachios! Both the heats are delicious! They are my favorite pistachios!!! Just wish shipping wasnt so ridiculously, arbitrarily expensive, so I could afford to get them more often.

Your red and green chile flavored pistachios are fantastic. We got hooked on them some years ago when we passed though Alamagordo, and bought a small bag at the White Sands visitor center! We noticed the address on the bag and stopped by the store to stock up on them for our trip back to NE Ohio. They’re the best we’ve ever had.

When you combine two of my favorite things, pistachios and red chile, it is a marriage made in heaven. If youre being held hostage in some state other than New Mexico, this will remind you of home! But beware. They are addictive.

I have purchased 3 bags of the Red Chile Pistachios and cant get enough of them. They are easy to open, there are large pistachios inside and they have the seasoning just right. I have tried both the Hot and XHot. They are delicious. Getting ready to order a bigger bag.

HOTD Red Chile Pistachios are ridiculously good! I like to buy equal amounts of hot and extra hot and mix them together. When you reach into that bowl, you are going to get a delicious pistachio hands down, and some of them will raise the heat while others dial it back. The experience makes me and my friends unable to stop going back in for more! I found HOTD when I was living in El Paso and exploring NM back in 2012, and since then this is the only place I get pistachios.

Heart of the Desert pistachios are by far the standard by which all pistachios should be compared. I moved away from the area 5 years ago and am so glad I have the ability to order on line. I got a 5lb bag for Father’s Day and have to say it was the best gift.
