Garlic & Green Chile Pistachios (In-Shell)

A slightly different flavor than our Green Chile pistachios these nuts are bursting with the robust flavor of fresh garlic. The heat index on the Garlic & Green Chile Pistachios are a 5 or 6.

Heart of the Desert Pistachios are the home-grown product of Eagle Ranch in Alamogordo, New Mexico. They are harvested, processed, packaged right on the farm – guaranteeing the freshness and value of our pistachios are second-to-none.

Nutritional Facts: In addition to being a truly delicious treat, pistachios are among the most nutritious nuts around. Pistachio nuts are all natural, cholesterol free, high in fiber, low in saturated fats and NO transfats, and gluten free. One ounce of shelled pistachios contains 10% of an adult's needed daily intake of protein, without animal fats. There is more potassium and iron by weight in pistachios than in any other nut, fruit, or vegetable.

Pistachios are nutrient dense and are an excellent source of complex carbohydrate energy.

Our pistachios are Star-K Kosher Certified!

Storage of Pistachios: We recommend keeping pistachios in the refrigerator or freezer in a sealed container. Kept in the refrigerator, pistachios will stay fresh and flavorful for a year. In the freezer, shelf life is two years.

So,I thought Green Chili/Garlic that sounds terrible. Anyway, I tried them, SOOOOOOO delicious!!!!!!!! SOOOOO Addicting! They are my new favorite pistachio. I like the red as well, but the green outweighs the red by far :

Can’t be Beat

I only get pistachios from Alamogordo farms! The ones found in the stores taste bland and old compared to the ones from HEART OF THE DESERT! And ones w green chili and garlic are addictive. Yum yum.

Great as Office Gifts

The nuts are very fresh, and the burlap bags make a nice impression. I always give the small 1/2 lb bags as little office gifts for the Holidays. Everyone in the office looks forward to them each year as they are something different than the usual sweets and so they remember what you gave them. Also get some of the plain pistachios for those poor people who dont like anything spicy!

Tickles the Nose, Lifts the Spirits!

I first tried these piquant little fellows years ago, a sample present from a friend. I stood all amazed! They are spicy, but not too spicy. They might tickle your nose, but just enough to make you smile. And if you are like me, you will want to come back again and again for more. These are my favorites!

If you are a New Mexican I dont have to sell you on green chile and if you arent then do yourself a favor and buy everything green chile related from this state. And in the case of these the garlic is a wonderful compliment. I cant get enough of these and I think you will find it the same.

Ive been buying the Red Chile Pistachios and the Green Chile Pistachio nutmeats for many years, and decided to try the new garlic and green chile ones when they came out. They were awesome! Dude, soooo good!

Stopped in to the store on a whim while traveling through New Mexico. Sampled all of the variations within the store, and fell in love with all of them. These however are our favorite, theyre a little spicy but not crazy, and are just hella tasty! Paired with a cold beer and man Im in heaven.
