Heart of the Desert Gewürztraminer is a classic German white wine that’s sweet with complex spicy overtones. Known as a “late harvest wine,” Gewürztraminer grapes are left on the vine to shrivel, resulting in a more concentrated sugar content that’s balanced by lower acidity. The harmony of sweet and acidic, complemented by spicy overtones, and combined with a fresh, floral aroma, makes this wine a delicious pairing for poultry, pork, and veal dishes, as well as spicy dishes from Asia, India, and the Middle East.
